After arriving at Schiphol Airport go to the train station inside the airport. You can either buy a ticket at the desk (near the big digital clock) or at one of the bright yellow ticket machines. These are spread through the hall. They have an English menu and accept credit cards. You buy a one way ticket, normal price, with date printed to Amsterdam Central Station. The easiest way to find out from which platform the next train departs is by checking the blue screens near the ticket machines. Trains to Amsterdam Central Station travel frequently, so don’t worry if you miss one.

After the train trip (which takes approximately 15 minutes) you leave Central Station through the most Eastern Central Side exit. There are quite a view exits so make sure to take the right one. As soon as you leave the building you will see big cranes at a building site on your left hand. This is the direction in which you’ll find the Atalanta:

It is a 10 minute walk depending of your pace and the amount of luggage you carry. You enter the docks through a bus parking site at the water front. Walk past the busses towards the boats. The second dock is characterized by some trees, bush and (green) postboxes (a.o. 518 for the Atalanta). At the rear end you find the prettiest boat of all: The M.S. Atalanta.

One of us will meet you at the boat at your arrival. If you have trouble finding us, don’t hesitate to contact us. Also if you arrive at an other time then expected, please let us know.

We’re looking forward to meet you and show you around on the Atalanta. We hope you’ll have a good journey to Amsterdam and then a lovely time on our boat.
